I know that for some people this title will act like a red rag to a bull, but it is a subject we can't ignore.
Some people believe that Christianity, and religion in general, is based entirely on faith - more specifically, on a kind of faith which involves believing in things without evidence. I can't speak on behalf of other faiths, but I can say with confidence that this is not the case when you are talking about Christianity in its original form. Of course, you can find Christians who do teach and profess that kind of faith, but they have to do so despite the teaching of the New Testament, not because of it.
Truth, reason and rational argument feature prominently in the pages of the New Testament, and 'blind faith' - believing in things without evidence - is nowhere to be found. In contrast, people who believe myths and stories are criticized.
(More work is required here ... I plan to add some relevant quotes.)
