What do you want to tell us about from your past activity or experiences?
I have a degree and PhD in physics at Cambridge University. I was the Christians in Science local group leader for Bristol. I am married with one daughter who is nine years old. I have been a committee member of the Friends of Suburban Bristol Railways and am still a steering group member of the Bristol Clean Air Alliance.
What is your current involvement and activity?
I’m currently a Daphne Jackson research fellow at Swansea University studying hydrogen. I’m a member of Christians in Science, which have a local group in Bristol. I am a member of the Labour Party and a campaigner on local Clean air and public transport issues.
What concerns or issues do you care passionately about?
Making Jesus known as an intellectually and emotionally credible life commitment. Defending science and empirical reality. Taking part in political action and debate. Presenting viable strategies for reducing material consumption and pollution to make a fairer and more modest society.
