There are many reasons why people want to prevent online anonymity - to stop children accessing inappropriate material, or criminals selling stolen goods, for example.  But there are also good reasons to protect it - to prevent persecution of minorities and politicall dissidents, for example.  And, in any case, how in general can you verify who someone is online?  So what should we do, and how should we do it?

We may also talk about online privacy - which is related to online anonymity, but quite a distinct (and much easier?) challenge.

As always, everyone is invited: if you don't have the access details, please contact me.  And, if you can't join us, feel free to email me your thoughts.
