A set of online resources for helping to organise and develop a better world, a place to browse for contacts, ideas and approaches, as a sort of updated "Whole Earth Catalog" for social development: search engines can only take you so far.
A vibrant, networked community of active contributors, many of whom are involved in social development and in advancing social justice, who recognise they need authentic and effective communication between diverse collections of people.
To which I would now like to add: if we want to change the world, information (having the relevant facts) is essential, but not enough: people know the world is in a mess, and many people know quite a bit about what needs to be done. What they need is hope that the necessary changes can be made, and a sense of direction so that they can focus on significant activities which they can do.
